Johnoy Williams known as “TVBoss” was born in Portland Parish, raised in Buff Bay.

He was a past student of Buff Bay High School.

Over a period of 10 years, actor and youth advocate Johnoy 'TV Boss' Williams has managed to claim his place as one of the most sought-after actors for music videos, advertisements, plays and television series.

He is known worldwide for his roles in music videos such as I-Octane's Hurt By Friends, Busy Signal's Stay So, and Stephen Marley's Rockstone, which features Capleton and Sizzla. Stay So and Rockstone have been his most successful music videos to date, racking up 38 million and 177 million views, respectively.

Williams is a young Jamaican actor who got his first big break back when he landed the lead role in a Ministry of Health commercial where he was encouraging persons to get tested for HIV/AIDS virus.

He went on to join Ellis International, where he was casted on Season 5 of the Ity and Fancy Cat Show.

The actor has been in the US for the last 3 years, cementing a name for himself, and is working closely with long-time friend Busy Signal for a new music video.

This is not the first time that Williams has teamed up with Busy Signal for a project, as they have worked together on numerous videos, including 100% featuring Afro B, and Stay So where Williams has played starring roles.
